Roland Cube.

I have a Marshall MG and I hate it. It sounds thin, and hums too much.

When comparing those two, its like comparing an old Geo Metro to a newer Honda Civic. Both arent the best on the market...but the Civic completely pwns the Metro.

Thats the only analogy I can think of. lol

If sound and reliability is important, the Cube.

If having the name, "Marshall," on your amp is critical, then the MG.

I'd get a Vox AD before either of 'em, though.

I would have said MG, but I promised Gabel I wouldn't reccommend a MG. But really, MG's are almost a matter of luck. I have one - it's sounding good. Some sound crap. So maybe you are better off with a cube instead of chancing, although I prefer my MG. But i'm not fully reccommeding it - as some are crap.

My mate has an MG and it sucks, simple as that. Roland cube is much better

My old amp was a MG15CD. I loved the classic Marshall growl but it lacked reverb which it what motivated me to "upgrade" to a Roland Cube 20X. I really love my new Cube and now my old MG is now boxed up in the basement!
