im not sure what is a stop tailpiece, im looking at a prs with options tremola, or stop tailpiece can anyone explain, i know what tremola is.
a stop tail piece is the opposite of a tremolo. a tremolo moves up and down if u want it to. a stop tail piece wont. its also called a fixed bridge.
makes too much sense, why dont they just call it a fixed bridge??
Coz a stoptail is a form of fixed bridge.
^Also because it isnt technically a fixed bridge. A fixed bridge is FIXED to the the body of the guitar. A stop-tail is attached above the body of the guitar.
