Couldn't find another NY thread to ask this in.

The other day on VH1 Classic, I saw a Neil Young performance that was Unplugged-like, but looked like it was from the 70s. I know it wasn't MTV's unplugged...he's clearly much older during that performance. In the one I saw, there was a single piano along with 2 or 3 guitars, Young, and the audience. I'd basically just like to know what performance this was, if anyone knows, and whether it's available or not. Thanks.

This is pretty much how he looked during the performance, if it helps to narrow down a time-frame:

was he sitting in the middle of the audience, like on a round stage? And was the song he was playing Needle and the Damage Done? If it's the one I'm thinking of, then that is an extra on the Heart of Gold DVD, but I honestly can't remember when/where it is from.

EDIT: this one?
How to achieve Frank Zappa's guitar tone:

Step 1: Buy a Gibson SG
Step 2: Insert Green Ringer, EQ, 3 dead squirrels and a microwave into said SG
Step 3: Plug in and freak the **** out.

I dunno. I watched it for a few songs. Two on piano, then he walked up and picked up a guitar. It was just him, as far as I could see. He was on a square-ish platform that fit the piano and a few guitars, and there were audience members on at least 3 sides of the platform.

I'm pretty sure this is from the performance I'm talking about:

The quality of this YouTube video is iffy, since the uploader probably recorded it from VHS. But the broadcast I saw was perfect.

Anyone know what this is?

That performance les_paul_01 and I gave the link for is an extra on Heart of Gold.

i know which performance you're talking about
i have the whole video on my computer

it was a performance on the BBC. Neil makes jokes about the cups that say BBC on them and BBC is in the end credits.
