Hey all

Im currently using an Ibanez RG350EX as my primary guitar. I was wondering whether or not this guitar will be good enough to just simply upgrade until it's at the spec i like, or whether it might be better just to simply get a high end guitar later on. I will be replacing the Trem at some point, as well as probably the hardware (tuners etc) and the pickups (though the stock pickps aren't that bad). The guitar itself is apparently made of basswood and has a wizard II neck. I like the feel of it, though it can seem heavy at times.

Im not a particularly amazing guitarist by any means, so it's not urgent, but it would be handy to know for the future, since i seem to be getting a lot better.
God knows I don't want to be an angel

tuners on a double-locking guitar aren't a huge deal. but sure, it's worth upgrading.

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.
