My god...

Is that actually someone's drum set up? Because it looks like its in a drum shop, is it just a demonstration kit? It's rediculous.

I somehow doubt that

But why would anyone need 14 snares? 12 I could understand, then you could drum in key... but 14?

Drum kits like that are just pointless. The most impressive drum solo I have ever seen is Michael Shrieve's one at Woodstock and that was on really basic drum kit with something like a bass drum, a snare, 1 floor tom, 1 mounted tom, a hi-hat and a crash.
Dave Mustain has wrote some of the most amazing solos...
That he can't actually play!

I think that this drum kit just takes a lot of place duo to the bass drums.

Those drum sets are built for under water so octopus can play them.

That was so bad that I lawled.

terry bozzio also worked with steve vai on sex and religion and did quite a few albums with frank zappa.

drum kits like that are not neccessary, it's total overkill
Funny words.

I feel bad for their drum techs, that would be such a bitch for the roadies also. But hey, if you get to bang groupies it must not be all that bad.

Take that and multiply by 4 for his live set.

I disagree. They have drum kits that make different sounds, as well as percussions, and other drums like Roto-Toms.

That's like a drummer complaining that we have all these pedals and shit.

He didn't play the largest drumset, but just because he's so awesome Keith Moon deserves a mention.

Father of the overly large drumset.

Chad Smith Currently holds the record for biggest drum set ever played. Something like 309 drums or something. And about Terry Bozzio, he is a Solo artist that plays on the ocasional album. He doesnt have a "band"
