I mite be buying a Fender with a Floyd Rose II installed! I was just wondering will this be problamatic? I have no prob with the modern floyd so wanna see how much this differs!

Its not as good as an OFR itself, its made of cast-iron, rusts easily. Basically crap material.

^ I've got an FR II sat around and it hasn't got any rust on it, and it's an old 80s one too

EDIT: It also doesn't say Floyd Rose II on it; it simply has the Floyd Rose logo as featured on the Original. The specs are the same as the II though, and it has the same "frosted" type finish on it

It should have the same routing/tiny difference as an OFR but im not 100% sure about that. Try emailing floyd-rose and ask about it.

it was saying something about different action levels on that link you gave me!

action can be adjusted...

dont worry about the deepness of the routing, be more concern about the side route section

the site is saying from OFR->FRII, not from FRII->OFR
