I have a squier 20th anniversary strat which just recently became my secondary guitar and i was wondering if its possible to put EMG's in it.

If it isnt can someone please recommend some good single coil/humbucker pickups

thanks in advance

Well, what kind of stuff do you play?

EMG SA's are good if you like a modern stratty sound, but want a bit more power under the hood. David Gilmour uses them, and he's got some great tone.

Do note that EMGs will sound like shit without a good valve amp.

and i was looking at a Vox AC30 as my new amp

And he only uses them live, to eliminate all the buzz you get from stage lights and cables and stuff. If he could he would use 'real' strat pickups.

I was actually thinking more along the lines of is it possible to make it like an HSS, HSH, or HH setup with 81's or 85's and single coils
