what was the point of abbreviating operating system if you were gonna spell the entire thing out anyway? :P

How do you like it? I installed it on a virtual machine, it blew ass, actual ass.

Blew for a while, but when you figure out your incompatibilities and figure them out/fix them (like I basically have now) it's pretty nice.

Hauls heavy specs though, need a nice computer.

The Windows Vista firewall, it now competes with any of your "third party company" firewalls. Velly nice.

Windows XP now.

I want to try Linux, but I barely have any hard drive space on this computer, so that will probably have to wait until I build my new computer.

And for when I build my new computer: How's Vista? You said it was nice once you figure stuff out- but how hard was it to figure out and stuff?

I like windows 98. Much simpler and less buggy. It's still not open source though, so I could never use it.

Not unless you want to spend a ton of time configuring it.

The only difference between the SP2 firewall and the Vista firewall is that the Vista firewall filters both incoming and outgoing traffic, if configured to do so. Only filters incoming by default.

You are still better off with 3rd party
