okay I don't know if it's been done before but I want it to be shared

1.set your guitar to the last humbucker (the diagnal one)

2.take a penny or other type of pocket change

3. pick a fret and position your fingers lik you were going to mute said fret

4. using the coin as a pick and hold it sideways

5. move the coin up and down the strings

I discovered this when I couldn't find my pick about 15 minutes ago, oh and don't forget the amp

Diagonal one? Not all of us have Strats. Unless you can do this on any guitar and you mean that bridge pickup.
And we will send you to whatever God you wish...

um yeah dude thats called a pickscrape and was discovered 252,156,656 years ago

and it works just the same with the side of a pick; you dont need a coin to do it, although a coin does affect the tone of it

Give 10 UGers a rope and ask them to pull. 4 will push, 1 will ask for buttsecks, 2 will tell you get an Ibanez and the last 3 will start complaining about Line6 Spiders.

I do that using my pick with a lot of gain, there's nothing especial about it, unless you can play a melody with it.
Besides being a guitar player, I'm a big fan of the guitar. I love that damn instrument. Steve Vai
