I have Marshall MG100DFX, and the Clean/Crunch selector swicth isn't working properly. At the moment it's set to clean, and when you press it, it doesn't click and hold in place, but I do get the crunch tone when I hold the down the switch. Is there anything I can do myself to fix it? I don't really want to have to take it back to the shop as I only purchased it brand new yesterday.

You're better off taking it back rather than screwing it up.

^Indeed, I wasn't gonna' say 'coz you probably think it's cool, but no, it's not.
That's if you can still take back the amp.

I just wish my guitar shop wernt such assholes, 2 weeks after i bought it i wanted to take it back, but they told me to naff off.....i then got told by a guy in another shop that guitar shops are trying to unload all the remaining mg's on any sucker with money and in a naive state of mind, like i was.....so I will say again, with the addition of capitals TAKE IT BACK

Tell them to take it back then! It's their policy to do so, that should be all you need to say, if they say no, ask to speak to the manager.

Threadstarter definitely....for you, it's probably a little too late, as most stores only have a 30 day return policy

I thought so, but when I tried taking mine back it was within the 30 days, hence why I figured they can't refuse.....too bloody late now anyway
P.s. threadstarter sorry for basically stealing your thread
