$999 is very reasonable for what it is.

Wow...Mesa is kinda going budget...not really but they are cheaper than their other amps.
I have no intention of buying another amp, I really like mine. I really want to play this. Looks good...I love Mesa

They've always had a budget line, actually (well, not *always*, but for a long time). This is just the descendant of the F-Series, which was priced similarly.

that'll probably translate to about £28549686549476948649648649648948694684964947896498469647896479647964789647864978649649647896478978649 over here.

and is it just me or do Mesa purposely hire the most homosexual slogan-writers there are around?

"take the 5.25 from London"

Jeez, that's so corny it should be in a 12 certificate teen chick flick.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

^ yeah, they did a similar thing with the lone star. That guy should be fired, lol.

EDIT: i have to say, though, I'm quite impressed by the less metal modes on this new series. The last time I tried the f-series I thought it sounded too metal, but not metal enough compared to something like a recto.

if those new modes do what they say, this could be a nice amp.

if you understand what I mean.

The fact that they're both switchable to 5W really caught my eye. It's twice the price, but it looks like a more versatile and gigable alternative to the Tiny Terror to me. I'd love to try one out.
You Don't Need a halfstack.

You Don't Need 100W.

hmm those look interesting. ill go try one out next time im in hollywood. i doubt they are good enough to make me want to trade in my mark iv but the specs look good nonetheless. the 5w/50w switch seems to be my favorite aspect of the amp. too bad their marketing guys are retarded and had to come up with that cheesy train theme.

For the cost of a Mesa Roadking, I could alternatively purchase Belgium.
