As you can see from my username I love Streetlight Manifesto and tons of the 3rd wave of ska. I just wanted to see what you guys think about ska and whos your favorite 3rd wave band?
I'm the same as I was when I was six years old
And oh my god I feel so damn old
I don't really feel anything

Rancid are the best punk band ever.

Tim Armstrong is a songwriting genius, is a complete fashion diva and has an incredible singing voice.

He doesn't sound like Opie from family guy at all.

Sometimes people say they don't like Operation Ivy. Those people are what we call liars.

Operation Ivy. Check out my band, too, if you like that stuff. I don't think we're so good, to be honest, but a lot of "ska kids" like us. So whatever.

Reel Big Fish and Mustard Plug. Can't stand the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. I like Op Ivy as well, but I consider them Punk-Ska.

Reel Big Fish=NO

Slackers=Yes

Agreed.

However, without the Buck-O-Nine's, Big D's and Reel Big Fishes of the world, ska kids would have no place to start.

The Insteps.

And next time, make a new thread.

I probably mentioned this in a thread already somewhere, my uncle randomly called me when he was in Reno, he said he was hanging out with the Slackers at their house.

I guess they live in Reno now, maybe it was someone else's house but the Slackers were there. He said they were cool guys.

yeah sorry but i didn't want to start a new thread if we was on the topic of ska. but will do for next time. thanx.
