can it be done?

i mean i have a roland cube 60...and they the line out for external speakers...so if i got a cab with the same electrical settings could i potentially make a much louder sound? as in the cube acts as a head and i could crank more power with a set of speakers...

any thoughts or experiences?

does see why not, it'll just act as an effect pedal really

Effect pedal? What? It'll act as a head.

Guy at guzzardos sais its dangerous, because your amp can only handle 60 watts, so it could over heat and fry, or maybe even explode.

well it's good to ask questons. sometimes guitar store guys make things up or try to push items that bring them more cash.

Well, i did ask if i could hook stereo speakers up to my 30 watt, and i walked out of there with a used fender 120 watt for $200 so no complaints. And the guy looked like silent bob.

well stereo speakers (not a guitar cab) out from a 30 watt, (not a cube 60 wt speaker out) is a different story.

it still wouldnt fry the amp. at worst the stereo speakers would break.

well a louder fuller sound would be sick...but i already take precautions with the cube 60 anyway when i crank it. i want teh cab to produce more sound at a lower volume setting on my amp so i could have a meaner tone. (i play metal)

i guess. also, u might want to check out randall amps.
those things are high gain monsters.

60 thru the cab will sound louder. but again it's still 60, so dont expect miracles.
