I have seen some bands using an iPod hooked up to their pedalboard, and I was wondering how practical it is? I play a lot of noise music (such as melt banana) and having something like an mp3 player to store all my loops and samples on would be cool. My question is, is how would I do it? How would I loop it into my effects chain?
Cool. Like a standalone speaker...a separate entity on its own away from everything else, just playing over the rest of the music?
I'm sure hooking it up to your effects loop return/line in won't hurt much. Although the MP3 player puts out a stereo signal, and they're both mono.
These go to eleven...
Yeah, thats true, unless i edit my loops and stuff in something like soundforge to make them mono. That should do the trick right?
