I currently have an epi les paul running through a traynor reverb combo mate 40. It sounds alright, but im thinking of upgrading. So my questions since i also want a standard telecaster, should i get a blues junior or a telecaster? how much of a discount can i get for buying both?

Well imo the Blues Jr is in its own leauge in the price range etc. so Like I think its a good choice!

no its a ss amp, what other amps are like the blues junior?

If you feel you might be able to afford a Blues Jr and a Tele, you might want to think about getting something like a Fender Blues or Hot Rod Deluxe now. That way, you'll be set with your amp for years. The Blues Jr is a great amp, but when it's time to start gigging, you'll probably be looking to get something in the 30-50W range.

Why not take care of that now?

^ A 15 watt tube can still do gigs.

Yeah, some, but you'd be at it's limit. Whereas with the 30-50W variety, you'd pretty much be set. If the threadstarter has the money, I think it's worth the $200 difference to get the bigger amp now, rather than finding out down the road that he needs one. That's all.
