Quick question the classification for classic rock is 1960 - 1984 and you will not put Motorhead under this. Just want to know why as they were formed well within the boundaries in 1975 (only 2 years after AC/DC) and are one of the most influential bands of modern music and quite possibly even creating they're own genre!

Just need clarification why so many other genres are able to enter the classic rock forum but not Motorhead?

a lot of people consider them more of early metal. Like Judas Priest and Iron Maiden, which isn't normally considered classic rock.
New Rush album in 2007! Can't wait!

For a lot of bands it's just the most appropriate.
I generally consider this forum for stuff of 60s/70s guitar based music, or that fit into some kind of rock category. You can't really expand classic rock so that it includes bands that were born in the 80s (for the most part - in my opinion), so when moving/closing threads, that generally applies, some do sneak through though due to relevance.

Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh*t in order to be comfortable?

That's when you know you found somebody special. When you can just shut the f*ck up for a minute, and comfortably share silence.
