Anyone have any ideas? (bearing in mind I have NO idea what it says, so damn if it means anything offensive).

Nah, it's not German.

Um, Dutch? is that a language? Or just a nationality? I don't know

definitely not. slm is unpronounceable though... So it's probably Polish or something.

I checked Google, I think it's Turkish.

It should be Turkish... so does anyone know any online translation sites? I looked on google but couldn't find any that would do more than one word at a time.

I'm Guessing Icelandic: Icelandic is a germanic language, and the umlaut is a characteristic trait of the germanic family.

It should be Turkish... so does anyone know any online translation sites? I looked on google but couldn't find any that would do more than one word at a time.

From my knowledge, Turkish isn't a part of the Germanic family.

rough word to word translation Turkish:
slm = Hi/Hello
guzl = nothing came up
bir = too many translations
teklifim = nothing came up
var = variation/variety
nedersiniz = nothing came up

the tranlator I used was this one...
http://www.turkishinterpreter.co.uk/turkishdictionary.html

EDIT: this came up when I used stee21's linkie
slm = can't be found
güzl = can't be found
bir = one
bir = single
teklifim = can't be found
var = to
nedersiniz = can't be found
