Hello
Right now i have a epi les paul and a boss me-50, ns-2, and boss eq, but i really need a new amp. i have't been able to find one yet but heres what im looking for:
-loud enough to practice with a band, play in a jazz band
-NO EFFECTS built in i hate them!
-tube or solid, doesnt matter
-under $900 usd
-combo or stack doesnt matter

i've tried crate palaminos, vox ad30vt, marshall mg's, g-decs and many more and i didnt like any of them.

and i play blues and classic rock (led zeppelin, cream, etc.)

hmm...
Marshall JCM800 used...
would really nail those tones...
a Laney VC30II I think...
a Vox AC30 I think...

traynor ycv40 or 50? that'd keep you well under budget too.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.
