Hey guys/gals thought i'd make a post to see what everyone else learnt first. Everyone says like oh smoke on the water is like the first people learnt, but i know it wasn't for me; my first tune was love me tender. (quite embarrassing really, and quite a contrast to what i play now). So then guys/gals what were your first songs?????

Are you serious? I still can't play Message In A Bottle consistently.

My first song I learnt in lessons was the James Bond theme, and the first thing I learnt at home was Stay Together For The Kids.
#39
My first song was Tribute, by Tenacious D. It was good for learning techniques such as hammer-ons and pull-offs, as well as introducing me to basic chords and barre chords
