Ive diverted from shred a little, and focussing more on acoustic guitar.

Inspired by, of course, the great, Tommy Emmanuel. I love his songs and they are a joy to play. Search "somewhere over the rainbow" one Youtube and youll see what I mean.

But I cant find very many of them, so Im just looking for some suggestions of songs that use finger picking, preferably on the acoustic, a lot.

Eric clapton did the song too but I think he might of picked it instead of fingerpicked it, I havent heard his version.

Apparently Mason Williams wanted to call it Classical Gasoline, as in a sort of firestarter full of energy and stuff. The story goes is that the print company couldn't make out the writing, or something to that effect, and they just put Classical Gas because they thought he was trying to say "Classical, it's a gas!". A sort of old 50s saying, meaning a good time.

I can't believe no one has said this yet, but it is like the best fingerpicking song ever:

"Embryonic Journey" by Jorma Kankouren(I probobly spelled that wrong) of Jefferson Airplane. Amazing fingerpicking seriously.

Other good ones would be 'The Narrow Way pt. 1' by Pink Floyd from their album Ummagumma or 'Black Mountain Side' from Led Zeppelin I

also anything by Yes, and Jolene by The White Stripes, do the Dolly Parton version(orginal one) if you really want to play some fingerpicking.
