because ive just started playing my dads electric acoustic pluged in it crackels if i move the lead so i cant move when im playing its got a really good pick up in it so thats not the problem its just because it hasnt been used in a while it does it. i know this problem can be fixed im just no sure how to do it. can someone plz help.

I would highly doubt that its because it hasn't been used in a while. If I had Jimi Hendrixs strat and plugged it in, do you think it would be worse because it hasn't been used in 'a while'?
I mean, come on, the strings might be stiff, and fall out of tune fast, but I think my amp would be the real problem here.

or the input jack. They're pretty much your 2 possibilities. Check the cable first.

100% sure it's the lead.. pick up's wouldn't cause that...

its not the lead its fine with my strat. i think its just i need to clean the inside of the input on the guitar

yeh... must be in ur input jack.. check the wiring in it n all
