Hell, you can put pretty much anything on anything...
I have a fretless jazz bass neck (might actually be Mightly Mite) on my Ibanez Soundgear. It took about 1 hour of modification to make the neck fit, planing down the sides at the base because it was slightly too wide. Also, had to drill the holes in non-stock locations. It works great now. I think putting it on your particalr bass would be even easier, maybe it wouldn't even require modification.

It should be fine. At most you'll have to sand down the edge of the neck to fit it in the pocket or drill some holes to match those on the body. Which particular body and neck is it?

I don't he would be doing that. Isn't the jazz neck smaller in width, so wouldn't the neck pocket be bigger than the neck.
