I think the VOX too but you might as well get the AC30, the 15 wont be loud enough for a decent sized gig.
My Gear :

Boss SD-1
Fender 15 Watt Amp (Upgrade soon to a Marshall )

a JCM800 or Vox will do it. The JCM900 is aimed at higher gain. A Traynor YCV50 BLue will be good to. On combo or stack, which do you prefer?

The JCM800s at the moment only have one channel so the VOX is better or you could get an old 2 channel JCM800

Probably stack easier to get around, what would you say?

^Well not always. A combo cna be heavy since you carry the speaker, so if your doing like me, using a cab at band practise and only bringing the head it's easier, but if you use a cab to then it's heavy.

Yeh a head weights nearly as much as a combo so a combo is easier to transport genereally.

^Generally, but at our band practise theyve got nice cabs so when i had my combo i just plugged it into the cab and that made me feel like a head would be better.

^yeh thats a good point. Where my band practises (at school) we dont have cabs and stuff (our school is still very into classical music - its really hard to get into shows being a blues and funk band) so I use my little combo and use a friends combo for shows.
