laney lc-15 perhaps, its under £200 or a vox ad50vt either of these would be good for the mentioned music styles and you could get ieither for less than two hundred.

Yeah you can imo im planning the AD50.

Here are some settings people have made and think are close http://www.valvetronix.net/valvetronix/red-hot-chili-peppers/list_67_name_1.html

Californication is spot on I think, it is just not played well

I'd recommend the AD50 as from what I hear an AD30 can just get to the sound level of a drummer in a pratice.

Why can't you get the ad50 off gak?

Also what wah do you have if you don't mind me asking?

Vox AD50VT or a Laney VC15 used or a Laney LC15.

oh sorry, i didnt see the ad50, i kinda skipped it and saw the ad120 instead the wah i have is an original crybaby, i know its not the best, but i really like it.

EDIT: are the laney LC-15's valve amps, because i might also look into them.

If you can get something better, don't go with the cheap Vox Valvetronix amps. They're cool for a couple weeks, and then they just seem bland. They also have a problem with voicing - either they're really thin or they're really bassy. And the AD30VT comes with a crap stock speaker.

^ok, i might go for a fender deluxe 900 if i can afford it. would that be good for Froo tones and funk, blues and rock? and are laney LC-15 and VC-15's tube amps?

Most of the ones I posted in your other thread, plus old style Marshalls (not too cheap)
