"This Song Won't Get Played On The Radio"

A brand new song, written and recorded by me in my bedroom. A rant against the censorship of music and how it causes songs to lose their meaning, plus the ridiculousness of - amongst other things - blurring out a beer bottle or a spliff in music videos when it's blatantly obvious what's going on.

Let me know what you think, I demand feedback

I think profanity in songs being censored isn't that big of a deal. You've got the CD, listen to it yourself then.

and I listened to the other songs. I like them a LOT. They're much better. The acoustic videos are good too.

I like the raw quality of the song, I think the material is really good.

Which is more important than an excellent recording of it.

In terms of levels, the guitar and bass are slightly too quiet, and the vocals are a bit too loud. I'm not hearing any reverb on the vocals, it sounds a little bit flat, but that could be just me.

You could also perhaps add a bit of flavour with guitar overdubbing, might not be your style.

I would give this a solid 8/10. Nice one!

Please could you give me a quick review back? much obliged.

Reviewed

Yeah still getting the hang of the whole levelling thing, it's taken me this long to actually turn the vocals up so that would explain them possibly being a bit loud in the mix.

Thanks alot for the review/suggestions, keep em coming everyone
