I just picked up the Up To Here album by The Tragically Hip and popped it into my CD player, and by the first minute of track one I was impressed. Gordon Downie's vocals are f*cking amazing IMO, he hits everything from light blues, to raw rock. And the riffs and licks coming from Paul and Rob keep the songs alive. Not to make this a rant, I ask, what do you personally think of the Up To Here album, and if it compares to the rest of their music?
