Um... yeash... I definatly have a lot to learn! I mean, so far today I've heard 2 names I've never heard, and they've been used as if they're masters of the instrument or something (Zappa and now Shawn Lane). I guess I got a little wiki reading to do? But can you guys give a short discription of who and what this guy is about?

0 Fret radius!

Do you mean infinite fretboard radius?

On topic: I'll definitely order it, unless I download it. I've seen some videos of his playing and he's phenomenal.

Please don't download it, it finally gets reissued and he just died not to long ago.

What does a zero fret radius mean?

A zero fret radius would mean that the strings are arranged in a cylinder with 0" of wood under them.

Also, I'd prefer to buy them, but the money I get per week is all for food, so I save up very slowly.

But he's dead, none of the money goes to him. I think it would be fine to download that and then spend the money you would have used for that to buy Guthrie Govan's new CD
I have nothing to put in here.

It goes to his family.

Someone up there ^ said it didn't though.
Eeeeh, that post got deleted?
I still think that the musician deserves the money, so I think just use that money and buy a different CD of a musician who is alive.
I have nothing to put in here.

I kindof agree... I'm much more likely to spend money on an album of which I know the actual artist is getting something out of.

True, but you're still stealing something that he spent time making.

O yea, i kinda mixed up two things i was trying to say into one......It has a flat fret radius....and a zero fret.....an actual sort of fret for the string played open....it adds to tuning stability.

Wow, I never would have thought resi to take that side? I'd agree too though.

I'm not taking anyone's side. I'm not saying anything about myself or my own actions in regards to buying cd's or anything, I'm just clarifying stuff.

I still think you should buy your goddamn CD's, but let's face it, you won't. In which case spending the money on a CD by an artist alive is the sensible option.
