i was trying to learn the harmonic minor scale and i came across this-
e--------------------------
B--------------------------
G--------------------------
D----------------------4--5
A------------3--5--6-------
E---3--5--6----------------

so how do i use this to play the harmonic minor scale all the way up the fretboard?

Go from their and just continue the intervals. From their play up a whole step, than a half step, than 2 whole steps, half step, 1 and a half steps, half step.

If your going to learn scales make sure what you are learning from shows the WHOLE fretboard, that way you can learn the scale all up and down the guitar so you can make riffs with the lower end and solo withe the higher end (or both, what do I know?)
