I'm a beginner guitarist, and a music promoter, and i see this chord, and types like this used alot at my shows but cant seem to find out what it is. is it some kind of power chord?

Thats a nt 7th chord. Shes playing a C#
"Guitarmen, wake up and pluck wire for sound, let 'em hear you play"
-Charlie Christian
"You have to give people something to dream on"
-Jimi Hendrix
"I try to make any guitar do what I want it to do"
it's called a bar chord (the index finger bars all the strings and acts something like a capo).
def a barre chord, good job, most people don't know how to spell it

I consider myself to be really intelligent and I've gotten into a fight coz this kid thought it was nasty to put sour cream on enchiladas.
