can anyone reccomend me some songs/cds of eric clapton that has his some good blues songs with like blues solos in them. most of his stuff ive listened to so far is some poppy stuff and doesnt have that blues stuff hes famous for.

Aight check out blues breakers with eric clapton, his stuff with yardbirds, and derek and the domino's.

Check out his cover albums of robert johnson and his album with bb king.

There are loads more but those are awesome of course.

A great example of a song is "cream - crossroads". Check it out.

i have the clapton blues CD. its simply called eric clapton blues. its alright. most of the solos for the studio songs are slide solos and arent too amazing or anything. the live part of the album is better imo. you can check that out if you want but the albums posted above are good ones to get.
