If im recording and hit stop, then hit record again it will start recording again but in a new track. Is there anyway to pause a recording then record again in the same track, or do you pretty much have to hit everything right the first time or multi track it?

hit pause while recording and then resume the recording by hiting pause again

oh ok I just had to select the audio I wanted to add the effect too.... so yeah umm... what will happen if I download that other stuff? do I need it?
