how am I supposed to play a scale all across the fretboard?
I feel like whenever I play a scale, I cant really improvise any descent solos because I end up following a really boring pattern.
How would I play this scale, or any scale across the entire fretboard?

The pattern is not important, pay attention to the notes you hear and the notes you want to hear. But sticking to patterns is not a good idea, identify the notes across the fretboard, and play them when needed. Sing the notes first. Since you're talking about improvisation, it's more about knowing the freboard. Knowing the scale and its notes. Knowing what comes where. With that most of your work is done.
