Anyone got any thoughts on how music can help achieve immortality. Spirtual, scientific, philosophical etc. I think it will have a big role. Inspiration maybe.

Here are a couple of immortality related sites.

Buttsecks?

But on a serious note, id rather not be imortal, you'd just get so bored with life, and you'd have to make new friends every few decades lol.

Living forever would suck. everyone you loved would be dead in a flash.
Suicide rates for the young ones of 150 would skyrocket im sure

ever read that sonnet by shakespeare...oh, what the hell's it called...something to do with a summer's day, anyway, basically shakespeare says that he has made the woman in the poem immortal by writing a poem about her. even when she's dead, the poem will survive.

i reckon that's about as immortal as music can make you.

I once read about successful trials in suspending pigs. They bled them quicly, then replaced their blood with a super-cooled liquid, with a low freezing point. The intense, widespread chilling caused their bodies and brains to undergo hypothermic shock. They entered a state similar to a coma, but were able to be revived by reintroducing warmed blood into their vascular systems.
