I saw one on the electric guitar forum, so why not do one for bass as well?
Limit to 3 basses, an amp (head and cab(s)), and as many effects and accessories as you want. Sorry if this has been done before but I searched and found no bass dream bass rig threads.

A four string tenor Carl Thompson Scroll with a (I don't even think this exists) Floyd Rose bass bridge. A seven string Ken Lawrence Chamberbrase (tuned B-F) with 28 frets. A Bassking Slapking upright. Aguilar DB680 tube preamp, with an Ampeg SVT power amp. To complete the satck I would want two Phil Jones 24T and 16B cabinets (two stacks with 24 and 16 8 inch drivers). I think thats about all I'd need.

Ernie Ball MusicMan StingRay 4 HH - White body - Rosewood fretboard - Black pickguard - OBTAINED
Rickenbacker 4003 - Blue - I'm keeping that pup cover

A decent pedal tuner, haven't decided which one yet.

That's about it so far, but it can always change.

Dude, trust me, that bass is so damn nice and plays like a dream - you won't be dissapointed. But whatever you do, get a pickguard that isn't white - I had to wait for three months for MM UK to send me a black one. They lost the first one in the post and I had to wait for another one two months later.

Custom passive 4 string Musicman with an overwound bridge, and a vintage Fender P Bass overwound neck. Set up so that the Bridge can phase and tap itself. Tuned Standard. 35 Fret.

Conklin 6 string Bass with Gibson style Neck Humbucker (Billy Sheehan style), Musicman bridge pickup at middle/bridge position with phasing switch, active tone shaping and preamp, tuned C#, F#, B, E, A, D, 15 Fret.

EBS Octabass
Crybaby Bass Wah (for tone shaping)

Crybaby guitar Wah (for solos)
Digitech Enveloupe filter
Gutiar Chorus

Guitar Tube Distortion
Digitech Guitar "Metal" distortion (for effects)
Solid State Boost Level to get it to line level.

3000W profesional PA (no pre-amp for me!)

Just thought I'd tell you, there is only one Rainbow bass. It's a Carl Thompson, not a Les Claypool. Also, there is no way Carl will make another.

Finally! Someone else here has caught the SWR bug. I wanted the Megoliath Cab for a long time, but I realized that the Goliath III was more than enough (4x10 version). Although if someone offered me a Megoliath I sure as hell would take it.

Yeah, I saw it in GC and I figured, "what the hell, I'll try it out." That head was incredible, it blew all of the Ampegs in there right out of the water. It was so warm and punch, but still had lots of bass. And the 8x10 was just a wall of sound hitting you, it was incredible. I would sell my sister for an SWR 750X and Megoliath 810.

My US Deluxe Fender Jazz 5 string is pretty much my dream bass, but I've always wanted a Warwick Buzzard or Vampyre LTD 5-string.

For a dream stack, I want an Ampeg SVT-4PRO, biamped into an Ampeg 410 Classic for treble, and an Ampeg 810 Classic for bass. I'll leave the bass half totally clean. I'll add effects to the treble.

For pedals, I already have a Fulltone Bass Drive, so that's fine. A more extreme distortion might be nice. I would like a looping station of some sort, and a good pitch shifter (so I can change the key of my loops on the fly).
