What do you guys do,Do you turn your amp up to full or turn it up until it's about half when your amps are being mic'd up?

I'll have mine as loud as I can considering what time it is and if the guy next door is home (he's a cop, lol.) I'm thinking about making an isolation box or something though or even getting a Palmer speaker simulator.

Edit: I was talking about recording... Live, you can have your amp at any volume you want. It's all preference.

depends on the amp and mic im using. for live stuff it depends on wither i have a reference monitor available, iv i do i keep the volume lower, if i dont i crank it so i can hear myself.
