I got one of those Ibanez Shred Hed kits for xmas, I think the guitar is managable for now but I am unsure of the amp.. It's this little dinky thing, it's a GTA15R amp.. My girlfriend just got me a 100 gift cert for my b-day to Guitar Center.. I thinks it's time for an amp, Suggestons welcome.. I would prefer a budget of 300 (that's the cost of the shred kit, lol) I play mostly Incubus, so soft rock.

I was considering a Roland Cube 30X but someone told me that it's more for Hard Rock and Metal... not really soft rock like incubus

A Roland Cube might be in order, too.

+1, Roland Cube. I love the clean channel on mine.

I've got one, just a couple weeks ago in fact. While I'll play metal there are other models on it, you could play any form of rock with one.
