A recent study shows that 8% of teenagers listen to nothing but music with guitars in it. Put this in your sig if you're one of the 92% who aren't close-minded morons.

Pretty much. When you can see from someone elses point of view AND respect their point of view, that's muturity. Unfortunately, by that standard, most people today are immature.

I think maturity is showing great respect for the people around you and greater respect for yourself.
#9
i think a better question would be what are signs of immiturity.

You show respect, but also know when not to respect. And you know that "disrespect" is a noun and not a verb. and you don't spell "you're" as "ur." Proper english helps, is what I'm saying.

WRONG! Disrespect is both a noun and a verb! Gosh a mature person would know that. What else are you wrong about? You are an idiot; giving out false statements!

^Signs of immaturity.(No offense just showing a point.)

Actually disrespect can be both a noun and a verb.

^Signs of maturity.(Nothing extra but the point.)

So, is there anything else to maturity besides respecting people and their opinions?

Well, I would say people who don't do stupid things and not laugh at stupid stuff...but that's just having fun.

So yes, I think that would be it.

Nay, I randomly go to Thousand Oaks. Possibly not for much longer though; there has been talk in my family about moving near Orange County.

Well yeah, maturity is also a measure of the states of a rock through hydrocarbon genertation.

Or more of what you are talking about. Maturity in its simplist form is that you do things that are socially appropriate depending on the enviroment. Such as here we have a much lower maturity standard than in a professional setting.

I think it's totally subjective, and asking a question like that on UG is pretty much pointless.

These are the words of a mature person.

It's probably when you realise you're not right and neither is anyone else.

And try to keep the puberty stuff out of this thread, even though I know I'll get some anyway.

Well, not asking an internet forum what signs of maturity are is pretty mature.
