I've recently noticed that my guitar (Ibanez DT200) has quite high action. However, when I lower the action at the bridge, I get some undesired buzz and from a brief eyeballing the neck looks bent upwards. I have no experience setting up guitars, so should I take this in to a professional? How much should a setup cost? Any info would be appreciated, I want my guitar to feel like new again

Full settup in at my local GC is about $50. I say do it yourself if you feel up to it. Its a skill all guitarists should learn imo.

Edit:

Seems like you might need a slight truss rod adjustment if your neck is actually bent up as you say. If you do decide to do this by yourself please please be careful. Turn the truss rod in small incriments to prevent it from breaking or any wierd neck warpage that may occur.
