I'm thinking of borrowing my friends Marshall JCM2000 to do some good sounding guitar tracks but I don't wana try it if this mic can't handle the heavey distortion. Anyone have experience with this mic and recording guitar mind posting here:

EDIT: I also have access to a Shure SM58 as well if that may do the trick

shure isn't always better than sennheiser you know ..
