Well, I'm stumped. My buddy's father gave this to him years back, and the story behind it is that said friend's father had gotten it himself as a kid back before high school. Since we can't exactly ask my friends father when he graduated, we're assuming he did so around 1967-1969 considering he was born in 1950. Friend said that his father had bought it used, too.

Anyways, long story short, I've got pictures. He's replaced one EQ knob and there's slight scratching from what I've seen.

Full body shot.

Back of the head stock. The knobs on the machine heads are real ivory.

Back of the body.

Most every place we've gone to is pretty befudled as to what it is, and none of the so called specialists we've seen have a clue as to what it is, other than old because of the triangular shape of the pickups.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Danka.

*shrug* I dunno. I don't think he's wanting to do that, and I can't exactly do it for him because he doesn't live too near me. I was hoping maybe someone here would be able to eyeball it and see if it was something they knew of or if they could point me in the right direction.

If he doesn't use a gameshark, it's not cheating.
