hmmm wouldn't it be better to replace the pick ups, cause the thing plays alright, I haven't plugged it into an amp yet so I don't know how the pick ups sound

$229 for a new guitar with a flame maple top/veneer? There's gotta be something that's shitty quality in there. Probably everything.

I don't know the action is nice, the body seems nice and it stays in tune...I'll have to see about the neck, I'm not a fan of satin finish

That doesn't mean that it is sub par, because it is a first act. Ibanez makes cheap guitars for around $150, but I hear people continuously praise Ibanez for their higher end models.

I think I'm gonna keep it and just get some good pick ups for it, and maybe eventually a new neck from warmoth or something

the paint job is actually pretty nice, and as it is it has good sustain and stays in tune well. the only thing i dont like about it is that the neck is satin and the pick ups are without a doubt shit.

i heard those were pretty good, my friend tried one before. I kinda like the shape too.

Thread starter: Yeah, sell it. Not worth keeping IMO :/

you'd have to pay me to play that, you got ripped off getting it for free.

If you are uncomfortable with it's poor standing in brand recognition, sell it. Or if you just don't want it, send it to me; I don't care what the headstock says.

It's a good platform for modding and practicing setups. Get to it.
