What's your favorite war book or which war books would you recommend to read? I just got done reading Fallen Angels by Walter Dean Myers and it was really good. I'm starting to get into these kind of books again so any titles would be great.

I read a book called Dispatches which was written by a journalist in Nam, or maybe he served, I don't really remember, anyway, it was a pretty cool book

'Steel my Soldiers Hearts' by N. J. Stewart.

The author was the member of a canadian tank crew in WW2 and the book is based on his
experiences in D-Day and other battles.

The Things They Carried, by Tim O’ Brien – BEST WAR BOOK EVER.

Seriously, it rocks, and it is an amazing account of the Vietnam War.

And, Slaughterhouse-Five by Kurt Vonnegut is also a great book about war. Highly recommended as well.
