Ive had my Fender for a while now, and want to try out some different guitars. my next guitar purchase will be either an Ibanez RG-370DX or a Jackson Dinky.

what about you?
#3

CoD4 anyone?

go with a Jackson dinky, I have a DX10D and it's amazing, as long as you are patient enough to have lock in tuners.

A new amp.

i just picked up a new (old) guitar, so i need to replace the crappy little practice amp i got. it's not grounded or something, it buzzes whenever i'm not touching metal.
#7
so far lots of RGs lol. i guess theyve gotten really popular lately.

im going to guitar center this weekend to play the RG and the dinky. i saw a maple fretboarded dinky and ive always wanted a maple wood fret board because i just like the way it looks.

ESP-LTD EX-400.. i was considering.. Jackson Kelly.. or epi explorer.. but the ESP is definitelly for me

Too many options for me,

either modding my Squier with new pickups and hardware.

A Fender 12 string guitar,

A fender hot rod deluxe,

Or Burstbucker pickups for my Epi. Les Paul.

Not sure what will make the biggest difference or be worth the money I spend but it's one of those.

Any ideas?

New amp: Probably either a jcm 800 combo or a vox ac30

New guitar: Hopefully I'll get a fender american strat one day.

my priority is an amp and completing my pedal board.
so they're: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 4x10"
and an Ibanez TS9 TubeScreamer.

Guitar would be an Gibson(or still deciding)Epiphone Les Paul and a Martin Acoustic.

Fender Classic Series Stratocaster

I don't know which one yet, 'cause the local shop only has a Standard MIA & MIM. I was reading the Fender forum last night and they really like the Classic Player '60s Strat. Abby's Custom Shop pickups, new 2-point trem.. I heard a shop in Helsinki has one in Sonic Blue. I'd prefer the 3-tone sunburst but the blue looks sweet too.

Meh, first thing of all I need straplocks, pick holder and bulk buy some picks, but guitar-wise you ask?

A) Guitar case.
B) An acoustic.
C) Fender Standard Stratocaster.
D) New 'buckers.
E) Fender Thinline '69.

Nice choice, I've really liked the classic series Fender's so far. My favorites are the 50's tele and the 50's esquire, both of which had really nice necks and felt like quality guitars.

I just got a Jackson RR3. It > buttsecks. Im looking at a tube amp of some kind now. Mabey a mesa or something.

I was thinking of something along the lines of an Epi Riviera or a Casino or something. A mosrite style guitar or a Dean would be pretty kool.

No. You need the amp first. Trust me.
On topic, I'm saving up for a Mesa Boogie F-50. Then, I'm buying either an SG Standard or Schecter C-1 Hellraiser FR. Most likely the SG.

I am torn between getting an epiphone les paul custom or a fender standard strat with noiseless pick ups. The thing is I like the tone and feel of the epi but already own a epi 335 dot, so am not in need of humbuckers as the dot performs very well. So I figured maybe get a strat adn single coils to have access to a different sounding guitar. Hard choice but I will likely end up getting the LP custom. Opinions on the issue are welcome.

I wish it would be a Gibson ES-137 custom, but I'm too impatient to wait until I get together THAT much extra money, so my next purchase would likely be an SG, or something else in the double-cut away style.
