i just started playing guitar and..

i can get the first part to sound right but when the 0h1p0 and stuff start it dosent sound like the song at all help please. also iv been ignoring PMs and the all the other signs.

You really have to snap it to get the 0h1p0 part. DO it very slowly, and make sure you are only picking it once, but getting three notes to ring out.

so to palm mute i just put my finger on the string and stop the vibration?

No. Palm muting is when you use the fleshy part of your picking hand (the part you would use if you are karate chopping someone) to mute the strings while you pick. You should get a really chuggy sound, and it works the best with alot of distortion.

no, you have to place the side of your palm next to the bridge, as close as you can
