More than it's worth. First off you'd have a hard time getting that exact colour, secondly bass techs generally charge an arm and leg to re-finish an instrument. The Hoppus bass is overpriced enough as it is.

As for the second bass question, I got mine (Ibanez SR505) a year to the day after the first.

depends on type of paint and if youre gonna pay sum1 to do it

yourself will be about $40 or $30
paying sum1 will be at least $75

Pretty easy.


...'til you realize you don't know how, and you've just ruined the job. The first time refinishing a bass is never perfect.

To be honest I've always found sanding the old finish off to be the hardest/most tedious part. I should also mention that you need a paint sprayer to do a proper job.
