Ok, I'm at a crossroads as to which guitar to buy next to extend my musical collection. I already own a schecter c-1+ so my rock guitar is covered. Which should I get next?
Fender Tele:

Schecter Corsair:

Epi Les paul: (not my first choice, but I would like a regular guitar with a thicker neck)

or

Which would you chose? I'm not much of a metal head, so no ibanez, LTD, ESP, etc.
I like a high output with lots of crunch though, but no SG, badly balanced.
If you would chose different suggest one, I'm open, but it has to come from Guitar Center.

Choose depending on your sound....Rock tele/epi....metal epi i would go with the tele because its by fender not a off brand like how Epiphone is to Gibson

^+1.

I agree. But IMHO, I would get a Strat before the Tele. Maybe I should of said in my biased humble opinion, cuz I have a few strats and no Teles. One day I hope to change that.

Enjoy your new Tele.

I had a Tele for a while and really liked it. If your looking for a thicker neck look elsewhere though. Tele necks are thin. I now play an ibanez artcore af75, very nice tone, slightly over driven and the neck plays really nice. I personally liked the neck of my ibanez far better than the les paul ( i played them back to back and didnt like how wide the neck was).
Just my 2cents. hope it helps

crunch eh.

Anything with p90s worlds most awesome crunch tone.

So some epi les pauls have p90s.

EPI CASINO BEST EPI EVER MADE

FOR RIZZLES

jazzmasters have p90s last time i checked

I do not, will not, and have not ever wanted an Ibanez.

I looked at the casino, dot, and artcore, none of them I liked as much as the schecter.
So, you guys are saying the tele? It has a thick neck and I was considering it.
Oh, and for whoever said get the tele because it's a real fender, MIM is just like an epi, epi just means it's made in a foreign country, so is the MIM.

tele ftw....

the problem with your last statement, is that here in america, ther estill made by mexicans.... minus a few parts, the MIM and MIA are fairly close. Each has there jems, and there "how did that get through QC," but I'd say Fender is one of the best quality for the price from a name brand.
