possibly

would it be better to get the RGT42DXFM

or buy the rg321 and replace the pickups. for really nice ones. cost around the same then?

i think i really should just go try them out.
can i get a store to order them in and then not buy either or them. or will they get pissy

this is what you should be looking at! mahognay body, cheap pickups (lowers the price and you can swap them for whatever you want!), neck-thru wizard II, no cheap korean made edge pro II trem.
Great guitar! Check it out!!

EDIT: alternatively
also the guitar you were looking at it also nice but dont expect it to be much better

theyre both very similar. only difference is the locking trem.

The trem is made of cheap metal causing the knife edges to wear out more quickly than on quallity trems.. But I've heard there are some good once and that if set up correctly they are not that bad I've heard

what exactly does a locking trem do

im a noob i know.

i cant find the prices anywhere so im just gonna continue saving up my hard earned cash till iv got a bit over a grand and then go to various guitar stores see if they can order it in, find out prices ect.

if i like the rg321 and it looks good then ill get that and upgrade the pickups. but if the other two guitars sounds and play better... well then its obvious

thanks for the suggestions guys

um. it lets u lift or lower the tailend of the bridge so the strings losen or tighten. this is used for soloing mainly as u can do divebombs and stuff. lots of good guitarists use them (such as van halen). the locking nuts attatch at the top of the fretboard so it stays in tune regardless of how crazy u go with the bar. the only problem is it takes ages to get used to tuning it (coz there are the tuning pegs, then fine tuners on the bridge)

i play in drop c most of the time. and for just normal songs i still tune a step down. i like the strings being looser.. need better ones i think

is a fixed bridge better for that
#17
drop c will cause serious damage to a locking trem, so get the RGT42FX
