Ok, I have a floyd rose guitar... the strings are in perfect tune when played loose, but arround the middle of the neck the first and third strings go a whole semi-tone off.
I don't think it's a bent neck, cause if it were the other strings would be off around the same spot right?

I've already retuned it because I thought it might be the tension that was uneven on the head.

Could it be that it's the strings? Cause they are the oldest strings on the guitar, it's just I've never heard of string untuning only in the mid-neck frets.

I even tried dressing up as a fly myself, and throwing myself out of the window in the hope that they will follow me. But to no avail.

I've checked on all the strings, it's only 1 and 3 arround fret 12.

you should fix the intonation, and if those are the two "oldest strings" on the guitar, i assume your implying that you put different strings on at different times, which is bad. change the entire set every once and a while

the 12th fret is where it would be messed up if the intonation is off

The intonation of those two strings is probably off. Adjust it at the bridge and reset the floyd is nescesary. For best results use a new set of strings.

No- the 12th fret is your reference point for adjusting intonation, however if your intonation is off it'll affect every fret, it's just less noticeable on some.
