Arguably one of the best movies ever, IMO. Samuel L Jackson is probably the coolest actor ever and that movie just kicks major ass.

Samuel L Jackson Quotes

Anyway, comments on this awesome movie?

Man, that's such a good movie. I love the dialouge in Tarintino films.

Watched it for the first time on Thursday. Great film but A) not as amazing as everyone makes out, and B) it was not what I was expecting really. I thought that it'd be a LOT more violent.

Gotta love the Bonnie Situation bit though

Wherever I go, i always have a copy of Pulp Fiction, a copy of Catcher in the Rye, and a Cd of In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel. Those are the three things that have defined my life as a living, breathing human being.

I love when people see a nationally hyped movie for the first time and then make threads about it. Garden State, Donnie Darko, American History X, etc.

Just a little annoying is all.

Sure, Pulp Fiction is a classic and all...for it's time.
Jackie Brown is far superior, imo.
Poor advice.

Actually, I saw it first when 8 years old and have seen it probably 6 times since then. So this is not the first time I've seen it and I am not making a thread about just because I just saw it. I actually just saw the soundboard a couple of months ago and thought UG would like to see it. And nowhere in my previous post did I say that I "just saw it". Assumption is not the best way to go about life.

Jackie Brown is terrible. nothing happens in that movie, it's so boring.

Pulp fiction is awesome. One of my favourite movies.

Pulp Fiction > Reservoir Dogs > Jackie Brown > Kill Bill 1&2.

Pulp Fiction is an AWESOME film. Love it.

Except for the rape scene. That's nasty shit.

Hey cheesophobe, I watched it 4 times between Monday and yesterday and I decided to bring back the thread.

I actually remember reading this thread whilst I was still a lurker.

Bloody hell, why'd you watch it so much cheesophobe?

And my opinion of it has increased, after a second watching
In order of greatness, I think the Tarantino films go
Reservoir Dogs>Pulp Fiction>Kill Bill>Jackie Brown (I've yet to see Grindhouse)
But they're all awesome.

One of my negroes was in town staying at my house and it's 'our' movie.

We watched it once: enjoyed it as much as ever.
Watched it once drinking vodka and orange juice: felt cool as we enjoyed it as much as ever.
Watched it once high: laughed our asses off.
Watched it a fourth time: enjoyed it as much as ever and were sad that he was leaving the next morning.

In the movie he says that in Europe they call a quarter pounder with cheese a royale with cheese, and he says that this is because of the metric system 'they wouldn't know what the fu*k a quarter pounder is' but in England we have the metric system and quarter pounders that are called quarter pounders. Im pretty sure that i remember them calling it a quarter pounder in france too when i went but i could be wrong. He was right when he said they serve beer in glasses in movie theaters in holland (they do it in all of europe, including england) and that you can get a beer in McDonalds in France (¬¬ one variety, kronenberg 1664).

I didn't really like it to be honest, it just wasn't interesting to me. I watched it in a bored kind of way until the part when the cop had a rape room type thing in the basement of the gun shop and was just having his way with the black guy. Then I just shut it off and went to bed cause that just made me uncomfortable.
