I've heard people say he used solid state Randalls, but I dunno if that's true. I saw a vid of him w/ Damageplan using Krank amps once.

Exactly..
all the stuff you probably know Dime for was most likely recorded with SS Randalls... earlier in his career he used a model that was like... the Century? or something with a C...
but later on he had his own signature, the Warhead..

also note: waaaay back before Cowboys from hell, when pantera was all glam, he used marshalls... and when they toured for Cowboys, he would slave the marshalls to the randalls to blend the tone...

^ yeah, cowboys from hell was recorded with randall rh100, vulgar display of power and far beyond driven he used a century 200, for great southern trendkill he went back to using the rh100, and reinventing the steel he used the century again, as the warhead wasnt quite ready in time for him to use. all live pantera and damageplan recordings were done with the warhead
